Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Modular Electrician to join our team in a fast-paced modular construction/manufacturing environment. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems in modular buildings prior to delivery and installation on-site. The ideal candidate has strong electrical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production setting.

Responsibilities

· Install electrical wiring, conduit, panels, fixtures, and devices in modular units

· Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

· Perform rough-in and finish electrical work on modular structures

· Ensure all work complies with NEC, local, and state electrical codes

· Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety

· Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues during production

· Work closely with other trades (plumbing, framing, HVAC) to ensure smooth workflow

· Maintain a clean and safe work area

· Meet production schedules and quality standards

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required

· Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience

· 2+ years of experience as an electrician (modular, residential, or commercial preferred)

· Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices

· Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

· Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

· Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on feet for extended periods

· Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

· Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification

· Prior experience in modular, manufactured housing, or prefab construction

· Forklift or lift certification

· Experience working in a factory or production environment
