As a Registered Nurse at Belton Regional Medical Center, you'll have all the staffing support, technology and resources you need to deliver safe, high-quality care—so you can focus on what you do best.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Informatics Coordinator (CIC) is responsible for the facilitation and leadership of facility Clinical Informatics by leading the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility projects related to clinical informatics, including:StandardizationUtilizationIntegrationOptimizationThe CIC is the critical facility resource responsible for supporting the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies. They are responsible for the coordination, support, and completion of project assessments, project advancements, workflow mapping, tools, and resources focused on Clinical Informatics initiatives, including but not limited to provider order entry and documentation, standard clinical documentation, promoting interoperability, and other technology that supports clinician workflow. The CIC will participate in the company-wide community of Informatics by working with the Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to ensure clinical applications are well supported.What qualifications you will need:Education: Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.Licensure/Certifications: Current (per State) RN license. Nurse or Health Informatics Certification is encouraged.Basic Life Support (BLS)Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.Meditech experience is strongly preferred.Lafayette Regional Health Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
