A dynamic and growing law firm with a national footprint is seeking an organized, proactive, and relationship-driven Legal Recruiter to join its administrative team.

This hybrid role follows a three-day onsite and two-day remote schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are the firm’s preferred in-office anchor days.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Legal Recruiter will take ownership of day-to-day recruiting operations across multiple offices and practice groups. The position offers broad exposure to attorney and professional staff recruiting, candidate screening, campus programs, onboarding, event planning, employee engagement, and recruitment marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

Recruiting and Candidate Screening

\n

• Manage full-lifecycle recruiting for lateral attorneys, paralegals, legal support staff, and business services professionals

\n

• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate prescreening interviews on behalf of the firm

\n

• Evaluate experience, communication skills, compensation expectations, motivation, and overall alignment with the position and firm culture

\n

• Prepare clear candidate summaries and recommendations for hiring managers and interview teams

\n

• Partner with firm leaders to define candidate profiles, develop search strategies, and establish interview timelines

\n

• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, legal job boards, bar associations, referral networks, and other recruiting channels

\n

• Coordinate background checks, bar admission verification, conflict clearance, writing samples, and deal sheets

\n

• Manage offer preparation, compensation review, approvals, and candidate communication

\n

• Coordinate relationships with outside recruiting agencies and track agency submissions

\n

Recruitment Operations

\n

• Maintain accurate candidate stages, records, interview feedback, and compliance documentation in ADP

\n

• Use ADP to support recruiting workflows, applicant tracking, onboarding, and reporting

\n

• Coordinate complex, multi-round interviews across offices, practice groups, and time zones

\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process

\n

• Prepare interview schedules, candidate materials, firm information, and timely status updates

\n

\n

LinkedIn and Recruitment Marketing

\n

• Use LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter to identify, engage, and communicate with prospective candidates

\n

• Partner with the marketing department on job postings, recruiting campaigns, employer-branding content, and LinkedIn initiatives

\n

• Help ensure that recruiting communications consistently reflect the firm’s culture and professional brand

\n

Programs, Events, and Onboarding

\n

• Coordinate the firm’s Summer Associate and Undergraduate Internship Programs

\n

• Manage law school outreach, on-campus interviews, callback interviews, orientations, evaluations, and recruiting events

\n

• Assist with planning professional development, recruiting, networking, employee engagement, and firm culture events

\n

• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation schedules, technology, workspace preparation, and internal communication

\n

• Support employee recognition and culture initiatives across the firm’s offices

\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

• Two to four years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience

\n

• At least one to two years of legal recruiting experience within a law firm, legal recruiting agency, or in-house legal environment preferred

\n

• Experience conducting initial candidate prescreens and making recommendations to hiring managers

\n

• Working knowledge of ADP or a comparable applicant tracking system; familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is particularly important

\n

• Comfort using LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing, outreach, job promotion, and candidate engagement

\n

• Ability to work collaboratively with a marketing department on recruiting and employer-branding initiatives

\n

• Event-planning or program-coordination experience

\n

• Exposure to attorney hiring, lateral recruiting, law school recruiting, or Summer Associate programs strongly preferred

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred

\n

• Familiarity with law firm structures, practice groups, attorney hiring, and conflict-check procedures

\n

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom

\n

• Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and relationship-management skills

\n

• Ability to manage multiple searches and competing deadlines independently

\n

• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information

\n

• Ability to work onsite three days per week, preferably including Mondays and Wednesdays

\n
