Responsibilities

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Barista to prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and beverages while providing excellent guest service in a fast-paced resort environment. The role includes taking orders, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring consistent drink quality. The ideal candidate is guest-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering a welcoming hospitality experience.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees, espresso beverages, smoothies and other café items to resort standards.
• Take and confirm guest orders, including any special requests, using the hotel point-of-sale system.
• Provide attentive service by anticipating guest needs, ensuring satisfaction, and promptly addressing questions or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar and work areas at all times.
• Greet each guest promptly and courteously with eye contact and a welcoming demeanor.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm hospitality while effectively communicating with a variety of guests.
• Part-time and full-time positions available with flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience. Previous Barista experience preferred.
• Position requires regular lifting of up to 40 lbs and the ability to remain active throughout shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required depending on assignment.

The pay rate for this position starts at $20.67/hour.

The wage for this role may take into account factors for compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure or certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

 

Position will be onsite in Spicewood, TX beginning 9/28/2026.
