Contract Front-End Developer to support student-facing initiatives including Attendance Display Pilot and Student Hub. Responsible for building intuitive, performant React/TypeScript applications with strong UI/UX focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement charts, gamified displays, and kiosk interfaces for student-facing applications
• Develop SPFx web parts in SharePoint Online with proper authentication
• Integrate REST APIs with robust authentication and error handling mechanisms
• Maintain clean, documented code using Azure DevOps best practices
• Collaborate with Data Services team to follow defined requirements and deliver quality solutions

Qualifications

• 6+ years of front-end development experience with production React/TypeScript expertise
• Strong UI/UX ownership and commitment to accessible, responsive design
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as Recharts and Chart.js
• Proficiency in REST API integration, authentication, and error handling
• Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and Azure AD/MSAL authentication preferred
• Experience in K-12 or public sector environments is a plus
• Portfolio or work samples required for consideration
