Field Service Technician
This Field Service Technician role supports the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced robotic rehabilitation technology used in hospitals and clinics throughout the Atlanta region. You will work with cutting-edge medical equipment that directly improves patients' lives while traveling to customer sites, providing high-quality service, and representing the organization with professionalism and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robotic medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on advanced robotic rehabilitation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Travel throughout the Atlanta region and surrounding areas to support customer sites as needed.
- Document all service activities accurately, including detailed notes, photos, and equipment scans, in the designated systems.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with customers, clinical staff, and internal teams to explain work performed and next steps.
- Utilize company-provided tools, equipment, mobile phone, and technology platforms to complete work efficiently and safely.
- Safely lift and move equipment and components up to 50 pounds during initial training and up to 75 pounds as experience progresses.
- Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and best practices while working in hospital and clinical environments.
- Adapt to a primarily night-shift schedule and adjust hours as needed based on customer requirements.
- Participate in comprehensive training programs and apply newly learned skills to progressively handle more complex troubleshooting and repair tasks.
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Service technician experience in installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance or similar service environments.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and work from schematics, blueprints, or technical documentation.
- Comfort with frequent regional travel and working independently in the field.
- High level of professional communication, including clear verbal and written skills with customers and clinical staff.
- Ability to learn and utilize new technology, including company-provided devices and software.
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Physical ability to safely lift and handle equipment and components up to 75 pounds as experience progresses.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, field service, mechanical maintenance, industrial equipment repair, or automotive/mechanical repair.
- Experience in construction, assembly, or related hands-on technical trades.
- Technical school training or basic electronics knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with hydraulics and mechanical systems in a service or maintenance setting.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions.
- Comfort using a variety of hand tools and power tools in field service environments.
- Experience installing and commissioning equipment in customer locations.
- Prior exposure to hospital, clinical, or other highly regulated environments is beneficial but not required.

Work Environment
This is a field-based role covering the Atlanta region, and you must reside in the area to support local hospitals and clinics. The position primarily follows night-shift hours, with flexibility required to accommodate customer needs and scheduling. You will travel frequently within the region, with all travel fully coordinated and paid for by the company, including hotels, flights, and approved travel expenses. The work environment involves hospital and clinical settings where you will handle advanced robotic rehabilitation equipment using company-provided tools, devices, and technology. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, and you must be comfortable working around electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The role requires safe lifting of equipment and components up to 50 pounds during training and up to 75 pounds as you gain experience, as well as adherence to all facility safety protocols and appropriate attire for clinical and technical environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Benefits available and bonus incentives
