Operations Manager

Details Location: San Diego, CA Position: Operations Manager Schedule: Full Time Salary: $80,000 - $87,000 Driver's license required, minimum of 2 years Overview As the Operations Manager, you oversee operations for assigned location(s) under the direction of the Senior Operations Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. You support company initiatives and help meet operational teams’ needs. Principal Job Duties Assist with the management and development of the location(s) team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, embodying LAZ Parking’s culture. Identify high-potential employees to support organizational growth. Support Facilities Managers with payroll entries, shift scheduling, training, and related tasks. Process payroll, ensuring timely sign-off on hours, collaborate with local payroll and Human Resources to maintain wage and hour compliance. Assist with opening newly assigned locations. Handle financial management, ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancement. Develop client relationships and business retention. Assist the region with operations preparation for potential new locations. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports. Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and enhance customer satisfaction by maintaining service thresholds. Plan, schedule, train, and direct Team Leaders and frontline staff. Implement and complete additional projects, programs, and initiatives as they arise. Communicate with local police and emergency management regarding claims and daily operations. Monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Experience 2+ years in management or supervisory role. Experience leading a group of 10–20 individuals. Experience in high-stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations. Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office 365 Suite. 1+ year prior experience in payroll and bookkeeping preferred. Skills Supervisory experience required. Intermediate computer literacy required; advanced desired. Experience in administrative tasks, including data entry, office equipment use, and inquiry response. Ability to seek improvement and foster an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving. Capability to handle employee conflict, follow grievance procedures, mediate, and resolve conflicts. Strong customer service skills and abilities. Physical Demands Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, pull, and otherwise move objects of at least 50 pounds. Capability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods up to entire shift. Consistently spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently. Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly. Regularly perform repetitive tasks. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects. Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Ability to perform functions requiring repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms. Ability to express or exchange information by means of spoken word. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make sound discriminations.
