Job Details Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Watertown, NY Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190 - $2,310 Assignment Type: On-site acute care emergency nursing Job Requirements Active New York State RN license required Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department, ER nursing, or comparable acute care nursing experience required Prior travel nursing experience required BLS, ACLS, and PALS required MEDITECH experience required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to respond quickly in life-threatening situations Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced emergency care environments Must be comfortable with IV skills, medication administration, and phlebotomy Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and delegation skills Charge nurse experience and critical care experience preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels in the Emergency Department Assess patients, identify changes in condition, and intervene quickly when urgent needs arise Support safe patient movement and use of lifts while maintaining a strong focus on staff and patient safety Collaborate with physicians, providers, and care team members to deliver efficient, compassionate patient care May be asked to function in a charge nurse role as needed Maintain excellent clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication throughout the shift Complete required competency and certification expectations during orientation and probationary period Promote a positive patient experience while supporting overall Emergency Department flow Why Apply?
