Registered Nurse - Adult Behavioral Health

Join as a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, providing direct care to adult patients in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting admission and shift assessments, monitoring patient behaviors, and accurately documenting care. Applying critical thinking to analyze patient data and notify physicians of condition changes. Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning, supervising care delivery by LPNs and techs, and educating patients and families. Ensuring safety within the environment and adhering to nursing standards, policies, and evidence-based practices. Utilizing professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics to guide patient care. Qualifications And Skills Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent. Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state, with BLS certification. No prior experience required. Physical ability to perform essential tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and communication. Additional Details This role involves day shifts with self-scheduling, weekend and holiday work, but no on-call duties.
