The Flatbed Truck Driver role involves independently managing local routes without overnight stays, ensuring safe and secure transport of cargo. The ideal candidate is a solo driver with strong skills in vehicle inspection, load securing, and communication, committed to safety compliance and efficient route navigation.
Responsibilities
- Secure loads safely on flatbed trailers
- Navigate local routes efficiently
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Perform regular vehicle inspections
- Handle cargo carefully during loading and unloading
- Maintain accurate log documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of truck driving experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in vehicle inspection
- Proficiency in load securing techniques
- Strong adherence to safety compliance
- Time management skills
