Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, testing and troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations, and using various hand and power tools. Key duties and responsibilities include: Installation: Install wiring, lighting, control systems, and electrical equipment in new and existing structures. Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components like circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical problems using testing devices. Safety & Code Compliance: Adhere to all national and local electrical codes, building regulations, and safety procedures. System Testing: Test electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance and safety. Blueprint Reading: Interpret circuit diagrams and blueprints to plan and execute installations. Documentation: Document all repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
