Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLicensed Practical Nurse – Corrections Location: Central City, KY Rate: Up to $1500.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1 Shift: 12-hour nights Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted Guaranteed Hours: 36 per weekRequirements:Minimum 1 year experienceActive, unencumbered LPN license in KYMust be willing to work in a correctional facility environmentCertifications:AHA BLSResponsibilities:Medication administration and pass under RN supervisionAssist RN with patient assessments and care in health care unit and housing unitsPerform controlled substance counts each shift with proper documentationObtain EKGs and lab specimens as orderedRespond to medical emergencies and codes per facility protocolAssist with minor procedures as neededDocument nursing care using SOAP chartingFollow established safety, infection control, and correctional facility protocols
