Senior Occupancy Planner This Senior Occupancy Planner role is based in Plano, TX and focuses on partnering with end users to develop innovative space solutions, ensuring delivery of planning services, and managing and reporting occupancy data aligned with workplace programs and strategy. Key Responsibilities Build relationships with end‑user customers to understand business needs, promote workplace solutions, and resolve workplace issues. Serve as point person for workplace program queries, space allocations, and utilization. Manage space requests and move work orders to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance. Develop stacking plans, block plans, allocation plans, and adjacency diagrams as part of space solutions. Gather customer workplace requirements through active listening and provide decision‑making options. Create block plans using graphic tools such as AutoCAD and participate in business case development for real‑estate actions. Report on workplace utilization, building data, organizational data, and occupancy metrics using dashboards, CAFM/IWMS, and MS Excel. Maintain allocations and data accuracy in CAFM/IWMS databases, ensuring adjacency requirements are met. Perform physical space audits and walkthroughs, collaborating with move coordination teams on migration schedules. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. 5–7 years of strategic‑level experience in occupancy or space planning, including interior office planning or move/project management. Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities with data‑analytics experience. Experience with change management and executive engagement. Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis using pivot tables and formulas. Proficiency in AutoCAD for test‑fit option development. Proficiency in CAFM/IWMS database systems such as FMS, Manhattan, Tririga, or Archibus. Self‑motivated, independent and collaborative work style with flexibility in learning new systems. Willingness to embrace change and explore new methods in occupancy planning. Ability to leverage data and analytics to support strategic decision‑making. Preferred Qualifications Advanced AutoCAD proficiency for complex test‑fit and space planning. Expertise in CAFM/IWMS database systems. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat. Experience building executive presence with C‑suite leadership. Skill in delivering difficult messages while maintaining relationships. Track record of adapting quickly to organizational change and shifting priorities. Employment Details Location: On‑site – Chicago, IL; Plano, TX; Riverwoods, IL. Estimated compensation: $93,000 – $100,000 USD per year.
