+ Driver Positions Pay Weekly

+ Hourly Pay: $21.00 Per Hour

+ Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

+ Paid Training

+ Schedule: Friday - Tuesday (OFF Wednesday & Thursday )

+ Start Time: 7:00 am (8 hours per shift)

+ OT Mandatory as needed

+ Tractor Type: Straight Truck

+ Equipment: Pallet Jack, Hand Truck and Lift Gates

+ Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

+ Must be able to drive both Manual & Automatic

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

+ Minimum 21 years of age

+ Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience

+ Pass a Ryder Drug Test

+ Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):

+ 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR

+ 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

+ 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

+ Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

+ Pass a DOT physical

+ Pass a Ryder road test

+ Must have a valid driver's license

+ Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

+ Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

+ This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.

+ Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

+ Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

+ Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

+ Other tasks as assigned
