Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients on a 12-bed Acute Rehab Unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Treat a diverse patient population (ages 18+) with diagnoses including strokes, hip fractures, debility, TBI, spinal cord injuries, MVAs, Parkinson's, and MS
• Float as needed to evaluate and treat patients in med/surg and ICU settings
• Document patient care using facility EHR systems (Medhost and Nethealth/Redoc)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a patient-centered care environment
• Maintain current BLS certification throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Compact-ineligible state — Arizona state licensure required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute rehab or inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with Medhost and/or Nethealth (Redoc) EHR platforms
• Experience treating neurological and orthopedic diagnoses such as stroke, TBI, and spinal cord injuries
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, patient-centered approach
