We now need to add to our distribution center team in Elkridge to continue our success with the best quality, the best service, and the best people to take care of our customers as we continue to excel.This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.In this position you will:Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr's policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.Assist in the completion of production orders.Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).Unload and accurately receive incoming product.Requirements:Valid driver's license.Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.Successfully complete internal Driver Training ProgramMotor Vehicle report must meet Amarr's driver standardsMust be 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent.The Details:This position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am -- 4:30pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries is needed. The pay rate is $20-22/hr based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and PTO (which starts as soon as you do!).
