Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and RDCS or CCI certification for a hospital-based cardiac imaging role.

Details

• Adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings
• 5x8 day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends (1 in every 4)
• Performs 2D and 3D echo, TEE, bubble studies, color Doppler, contrast imaging, M-mode, portable studies, RVIT/RVOT assessments, diastology, LV strain/volume, and Simpson's rule calculations
• Uses PACS and Philips equipment
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required to float across all Cone Health facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
• RDCS or CCI certification required
• BLS certification required
• PACS and Philips equipment experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
• License required if applicable
• Active license must be in hand at time of submission
• Current driver's license required for address verification

Additional Information

• Perform adult echocardiograms including TEE, bubble studies, and contrast imaging studies
• Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO accepted
• Third-party education verification required
• No open background check cases permitted
• First-time travelers not specifically addressed
