Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist to support our client’s team in  Blacksburg, VA . This is a full-time, 13-weeks contract.

 

Job Summary:

This is a unique hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of both a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) and a Phlebotomist. The selected candidate will split time between performing laboratory testing and collecting patient specimens.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis.

·         Process and prepare specimens for testing.

·         Operate laboratory instruments and maintain quality standards.

·         Document and report test results accurately.

·         Follow laboratory safety, quality control, and regulatory procedures.

·         Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.

·         Verify patient identification and prepare patients for collection.

·         Label, process, and transport specimens.

·         Maintain excellent patient care and customer service.

·         Ensure proper specimen handling and integrity.

 

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 5+ years of phlebotomy experience

·         Associate’s Degree

·         Job Type: 13 week contract

·         Pay Range: $22 - $26 hourly

·         Shifts: 1st Shift
