.NET Web Developer II

Our client, a government agency in Wisconsin, is seeking a .NET Web Developer II to join their team. As a .NET Web Developer II, you will be part of the IT Department supporting web application development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: .NET Web Developer II

Location: Madison, WI - 100% remote.

What's the Job?

• Develop, enhance, and support web applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, and C#.
• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Support online transaction processing (OLTP) web applications and batch processing systems.

What's Needed?

• At least 6 years of experience in web and client-server application development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in government, insurance, accounting, or case management systems.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, and Object-Oriented Design principles (3-5 years).
• Experience with Visual Studio.NET, Jira, GitHub, MVC, and MVVM design patterns (3-6 years).
• Previous experience with online transaction processing (OLTP) web applications and batch processing (3 years).
