Ear Works Audiology has been a trusted leader in hearing healthcare for over 24 years, serving nearly 5,000 patients across 11 locations throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties. We are dedicated to improving quality of life through expert diagnostic services and personalized hearing solutions. Our team of audiologists works closely with ENT physicians to ensure the highest standard of care in both private practice and medical settings.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Audiologist to join our growing team at a busy ENT clinic in Lake Success/New Hyde Park and Smithtown. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, have strong diagnostic abilities, and be eager to collaborate with ENT providers and fellow audiologists to deliver patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations for patients of all ages
- Conduct tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, OAEs
- Conduct electrophysiologic testing including- ABRs, cVemps and ECochG testing
- Interpret and communicate test results to ENT physicians and assist with care planning
- Provide clear, empathetic counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with ENT medical staff and other audiologists across the Ear Works network
- Support the referral process for amplification or vestibular follow-up as needed
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s in Audiology (with valid NYS license)
- Current New York State Audiology License or eligibility for licensure
- Strong interpersonal and clinical communication skills
- Experience in a medical or ENT setting is a plus; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Comfortable working with EMRs and audiologic equipment
