Lighting Technician

Job Summary Base Wage $20-30/hr. Occasional Prevailing Wage work (up to $55/hr). Per diem. Schedule traveling for 10 days (2 paid travel days + 8 working days) and 4 days off. Hotels paid for by FSG. Employee will be based out of Cincinnati or surrounding areas. This is a traveling position. Responsibilities Comply with FSG safety policies. Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems. Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process. Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines. High School Diploma or General Education Degree. At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience. Lighting and retrofit experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel. Must be reliable. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Positive customer service skills. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
