AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION OFFICER

Job Title

Provide efficient operations of roadways, terminals, and ground transportation activities for passengers and airport personnel. General supervision; and oversight of commercial vehicle operations and traffic control in terminals and on roadways. Monitor and enforce safety, and security regulations and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

1) Minimum age: 21 years. 2) High School graduation or GED. 3) A current valid Louisiana Driver's License. The following may be disqualifying: a) Felony or numerous misdemeanor convictions. b) Unstable or unsatisfactory work history. c) History of illegal drug usage. Note: Applicants must furnish a complete and accurate listing of all employment, including actual duties performed, the addresses of all former employers, and the inclusive dates of employment. This position requires a one (1) year probationary period. Applicants must successfully complete a training program during their probationary period. No probationary period may last longer than one (1) year. Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education and licenses claimed by the applicant to qualify for this classification. If selected for hire, applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials to the hiring agency prior to their start date in this job classification.
