POSITION GOALS

The Digital Content & Design Assistant will report directly to the Marketing and Brand Strategy Manager and will be creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative. The role will support digital and print communications efforts by designing visually compelling materials for diverse audiences and platforms while maintaining strong brand consistency. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work effectively as part of a marketing and communications team. Job Description Job Description Create brand-aligned content to support institutional storytelling Draft and edit written materials and visual content Apply brand and style guidelines consistently across all communications Design and produce digital and print materials, including flyers, posters, social graphics, email graphics, signage, and related marketing assets, using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Resize and adapt existing documents and designs for multiple formats and channels (print, web, email, social media). Participate in the creation and production of social media assets, including posts, stories, reels covers, banners, and thumbnails, aligned with platform specifications and campaign goals. Prepare files for professional print production, ensuring correct sizing, resolution, bleed, and export specifications. Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives, including file organization, data entry, and record maintenance. Maintain institutional brand standards across all materials, including logos, color palettes, typography, tone, and layout. Collaborate with the Communications/Marketing team on campaigns, events, and special projects. Contribute ideas and creative support as part of a team environment. Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of two years of graphic design experience Experience preparing files for commercial print production Familiarity with higher education or nonprofit communications preferred Experience managing digital assets and image libraries Strong collaboration and communication skills Reliability, flexibility, and effective time management.
