Low-Volt Tech Job description Minimum 2yrs experience with low-voltage installations, including, but not limited to: data/comm, fiber, HVAC controls, Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control. Demonstrate knowledge of products and materials, installation techniques, and understanding of drawings and schematics. Communicate with PM/Foreman about daily/weekly tasks. Be motivated and proactive, with ability to plan and execute tasks on your own. Interact with other Trades in a professional manner. Show up Prepared (have proper tools & PPE the project calls for), be early, and have a good attitude. Actively be involved with jobsite processes to help management anticipate and overcome potential conflicts or work flow issues. Work in a safe manner and maintain a safe and clean work site. Maintain an organized material storage area. Invest time outside of work to gain knowledge and understanding of the Trade. Use the resources available to you further your career. At all times, present a professional appearance to customers, other trades, and the Public. This includes language, proper attire, vehicle cleanliness, jobsite presentation, and care of JEC and others’ tools, equipment, materials, and property.
