About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, 5x8hr days Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required License: Oklahoma State License or Compact License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH Must-Have: Recent traveler experience preferred Description: We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons. We provide comprehensive Cardiac and Peripheral Services. The procedures include Left Heart Catheterization, Right and Left Heart Catheterization, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy. Other procedures include Carotid diagnostic and stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including Atherectomy, and Pacemaker Insertion. Additional procedures involve Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy. The Cath Lab RN will work an 8-hour day shift and rotate on-call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be proficient in monitoring patients in the Cath Lab and using devices such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices. Candidates should also be proficient in monitoring LEXISCAN Stress Test. The facility has two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and utilizes McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System. Other responsibilities will include helping with pre and post-procedure care, transporting patients, and assisting with various duties as assigned.
