Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members, to ensure cohesive care plans.

Provide education for patients and their families to enhance progress beyond the therapy environment.

Support incoming patients with speech therapy evaluations and interventions in inpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care throughout their rehabilitation process.

Keep meticulous records in accordance with state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Engage in continuing education and collaborative opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred before achieving ASHA certification.

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.

Knowledgeable in evidence-based intervention practices for all age groups, encompassing developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing impairments.

Outstanding communication abilities that facilitate rapport with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capable of modifying therapy approaches to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic needs.
