Seriously Addictive Math (S.A.M.) - Singapore Math is looking for trainers and assistants at the West Windsor and Montgomery NJ locations!

S.A.M Singapore Math is an established learning center that provides math and English enrichment program to students from age 4-14 years old. As the largest Singapore Math enrichment program in the world, S.A.M’s multi-award-winning Singapore Math enrichment program has served students in more than 200 centers in 20+countries. Job Overview:

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math/ELA Trainer to join our educational team.

We currently have openings at two of our local learning centers located just 10 miles apart.

We provide paid training, ongoing support and career advancement opportunity. We value our teachers who are the cornerstone to achieve our mission.

The trainer uses the existing curriculum to guide students on the individualized learning plan in small group setting, maintains regular communication with the director about the instruction and student progress, and contributes to the effective operation of the overall Math and English program.

Working hour:

· Tuesday 4:30-7:30 pm

· Wednesday 4:00-7:00 pm

· Thursday 4:00-7:00 pm

· Friday 4:00-7:00 pm

· Saturday 9 am – 12 pm

Start date: ASAP

Location:

Location A: West Windsor Township, NJ

Location B: Skillman, NJ

(Note: Candidates only need to commute to their preferred location, though flexibility is a plus!)

 

Primary Duties:

· Provide high-quality Math/ELA instructor to students from age 4-14 years old using the established curriculum

· Foster a positive, encouraging, and patient learning environment.

· Grade student’s homework

· Track and communicate student progress with parents or managers.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Excellent grasp of elementary and middle school mathematics foundations.

· Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, coaching, or camp counseling is highly preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.

· Reliable transportation to commute to your assigned center

· Strong organization skills and a good team player

Schedule & Benefits:

• Job Type: Part-time
• Hours: 6-20 hours per week, primarily afternoons and weekends
• Pay: $16 - $22/hour

· Free training to help you become certified S.A.M and S.A.E trainer. Singapore math methods are increasingly being adopted in public and private schools across the country.
