Senior Information Architect

Job Summary:
The Senior Information Architect leads the development and implementation of complex application architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise strategies. This role involves engaging multiple stakeholders to deliver secure, accessible, and innovative information solutions, leveraging advanced AI techniques and cloud-native technologies within a public sector environment. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:
- 3+ years of experience in application and database development and implementation.
- Proven leadership in complex application architecture reviews and enterprise initiatives.
- Expertise in information architecture, data modeling, and BI analytics.
- Proficiency with CASE tools such as PowerDesigner and Visio.
- Experience using AI for data analysis, including prompt engineering, machine learning concepts, automation, and generative AI.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, microservices, RESTful APIs, and Azure App Services.
- Experience with public sector enterprise architecture governance, Target State Architecture (TSA), and GO-ITS standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in systems analysis and design in large, integrated environments.
- Experience with modular and composable application architectures.
- Knowledge of data mesh implementation and data ingestion informed by consumption requirements.
- Familiarity with architecture design and cloud management tools such as DevOps and collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of information modeling standards, including Information Modeling Handbook (IMH) and Common Data Elements Models.
- Public sector experience supporting enterprise architecture deliverables and governance processes.
- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
- Onsite presence is required.
- Must demonstrate experience in providing information architecture interpretation and business architecture advice at the enterprise level.
- Adherence to public sector governance, security, privacy, and accessibility standards is mandatory.
- Standard work schedule with potential adherence to project deadlines and governance review timelines.
