This is a technical and creative role working closely with the digital team, newsroom leaders, reporters and engineering team.**Responsibilities:*** Content creation: Work collaboratively with the team of video journalists and reporters to create content that's optimized for multiple platforms, including broadcast television, websites and social media* Content curation: Schedule connected television app programming by crafting blocks of engaging content. Manage YouTube strategy to increase audience size and loyalty.* Organization: Organize source materials into multimedia pieces and aggregated video streams.* Live Stream Production: Assist with live streams of breaking news, daily events and pre-planned programming.* Guest interview management: Book and produce conversations with invited guests, both virtual and in-person.**Skills and experience:*** Experience producing streaming and social video content* Understanding of digital platforms, trends and audience behaviors* Knowledge of WordPress, OBS/vMix, Akta or similar digital content management systems* Strong writing and editorial ability* Ability to adjust schedule based on major and breaking news events* Ability to work under tight deadlines* 3+ years’ experience in a local newsroom preferred**Education:*** Degree in journalism, video production or other fields related to media content management #J-18808-Ljbffr Nexstar Media Group Inc.
