Top Pay for Automotive Technicians and Auto Mechanics Industry-leading compensation for service technicians Signing bonuses and performance-based incentives Modern Automotive Shops Advanced diagnostic tools and equipment High-volume service departments Work on domestic, import, diesel, and electric vehicles Career Growth for Automotive Technicians Paid training, including EV and diagnostic training ASE certification support Advancement to Master Technician and Shop Foreman roles AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC RESPONSIBILITIES Perform automotive repair and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, and drivability systems Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostic equipment Complete repairs to manufacturer specifications Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting Handle warranty repairs, recall repairs, and dealership service work Maintain high-quality standards as an automotive technician or service technician AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, service technician, or auto tech All experience levels considered, including entry-level technicians and master technicians Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills Personal tools required Valid driver’s license preferred AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN SKILLS (AUTO MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN) Automotive technician skills include automotive diagnostics, auto repair, and vehicle maintenance across gasoline and diesel engines, engine repair, engine performance, and tune-ups. Experience with automatic transmission, manual transmission, drivetrain and axle repair, suspension and steering systems, brake repair, electrical systems, and electronic diagnostics is required. Skilled in HVAC systems, vehicle troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostic scan tools. Experience performing automotive service technician duties in dealership service departments or independent repair shops, including warranty repair, recall repair, and vehicle inspections.
