We are pleased to offer the following benefits to make working at Sarah Brayton the best experience possible:Competitive Pay RatesReferral Program BonusesBlue Cross/Blue Shield Health, Dental, and Vision BenefitsSupplemental Insurance Benefits401(k)Paid Vacation TimePaid Sick TimeOpportunities for Professional GrowthPosition SummaryThe Maintenance Assistant provides a variety of standard and unskilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of center grounds and facilities.Job Skills· Works closely with and follows directions from the Maintenance Director.· Maintains building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.· Maintains and repairs basic functions of the center as determined by the Maintenance Director.· Takes care of the tools and equipment.· Makes minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers, changes filters on HVAC equipment, carriers, lifts, and stocks supplies.· Assumes supervisor’s responsibilities in his/her absence.· Puts customer service first.· Performs other duties as requested.Qualifications· High School degree or GED and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.· Ability to comply with HIPAA laws.· This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.· Comply with all vaccination and testing requirements as required by state and federal regulations.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shift - (Days 8am - 4pm)40 hours a week Ability to commute/relocate: Fall River, MA 02720: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
