Job Overview

Position Highlights:

• We are in search of a Board Certified Trauma Surgeon to spearhead a dynamic team focused on trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care, collaborating closely with physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
• This role is situated within a 510-bed non-profit teaching hospital , recognized as a Level II trauma center, utilizing Epic EMR enhanced with AI capabilities.
• Candidates must hold American board certification in General Surgery, complemented by fellowship training in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care.
• The selected individual will engage as a vital member of the clinical team while also serving as the Medical Director for the program. Leadership experience is essential. Key responsibilities encompass attending meetings, driving process improvement efforts, managing staff schedules and on-call duties, enforcing policies and procedures, fostering team engagement, and overseeing the overall program.
• The compensation package includes a competitive base salary, a stipend for the medical director role, production bonuses, and quality incentives.
