Benefits and pay:

Starting wage is $20 per hour and goes up to $23 per hour depending on experience/knowledge.

We are looking for a dedicated and charismatic individual with an eye for detail to work in the 2Js Meat Department. Personality is the most important thing to us.

Responsibilities of Meat Clerk:
- Acute attention to cleaning/cleanliness
- Working with customers to take orders and educate them on the departments various products/proper preparation
- Meat cutting
- Cutting, wrapping and labeling of meat products
- Receiving/Placing orders
- Stocking displays and maintaining inventory
- Sausage mixing, stuffing, and smoking
- Following recipes and Food Safety/HACCP Standards
- Answering phone/taking messages
- Knowledge of the various cuts of meats and how to prepare them

Required Characteristics:
- 3-5 years of professional meat cutting experience
- Stellar customer service
- An eagerness to be part of a phenomenal team
- Dependability
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift 50+ LBS, stand for long periods of time, operate machinery, etc.
