Schedule: Primarily Evening Closing Shifts & Weekends Full-Time/Part-time
About Us: Benny's Supermarket is a trusted, community-focused grocery store proudly serving Opelousas and surrounding areas. We are seeking a reliable, motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our teamespecially during evening hours and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee store operations
- Supervise front-end, stock, and department staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Handle closing procedures, including register reconciliation and end-of-day reporting
- Ensure shelves are stocked, store is clean, and departments run smoothly
- Assist with scheduling, training, and team development
- Address customer concerns or emergencies in a professional manner
Requirements
- Prior retail or grocery supervisory experience required
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
