Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse - Telemetry Specialty - Location: Ocean University Medical Center. This position involves providing essential nursing care within the telemetry unit, focusing on patients requiring cardiac monitoring and non-titratable drips. The role supports the healthcare organizations commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centric care.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ASN from an accredited nursing school, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS from the American Heart Association, NIHSS, Telemetry Certification or Competition Exam REQUIRED, minimum 2 years recent telemetry experience required, minimum 1-year nursing experience, 36 hours per week, shift is day (6:45 am - 7:15 pm).
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients, assisting physicians, developing and implementing individualized care plans, performing therapeutic interventions, managing patient care, and documenting according to standards.
- Required skills include telemetry, cardiac rhythms, non-titratable drips.
- Flexibility to float to other inpatient telemetry units may be required.
- Submission of all required certifications and licensure documentation is necessary for consideration.
