Key Responsibilities* Provide professional design services for transportation projects for multiple agencies including PennDOT, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC).* Design roadway geometrics, roadway modeling and cross section development, traffic control, signing and pavement markings, utility coordination and right-of-way plan development.* Interact with client management teams, engineers in other technical disciplines, and marketing teams. Support proposal development.* Coordinate design development and assist with technical direction to other design staff.* Coordinate with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget.* Assist with the development of specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.* Develop technical and price proposals.* Work with practice and office leadership, client development, business development and industry participation to advance your career and STV’s growth.* Establish working relationships and interface with client technical staff and project managers.* Mentor supporting Civil design staff.Education and Experience* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Master’s degree is a plus* Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
