The Project Manager for Bank Operations plays a pivotal role in this transformation, collaborating with five product and engineering groups (10+ engineering teams and 10+ product managers) and four operations organizations (Bank Voice, Bank Operations, Customer Protection, Enterprise Payments) to identify and define strategic initiatives, track and report on their progress, coordinate with partner teams to ensure efficient and well-managed delivery, and challenge us to deliver business value across the ecosystem of Bank’s operations. Proficiency in Tableau, Jira, and Snowflake is required for this role. General Responsibilities: Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports. Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time. Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment. Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes Basic Qualifications: At least 3 Years of Project Management experience At least 1 Year of People Management experience Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of Project Management experience 2+ years of People Management experience PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management New York, NY: $165,700 - $189,200 for Manager, Project Management Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management Wilmington, DE: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
