Behavioral Health Technician ABA Job ID: 1400 Date Posted: 12/12/2024 Location: Schnecksville, PA Position Type: Behavioral Health Services / Behavioral Health Technician (ABA) Position Definition Provides one-to-one behavioral interventions with clients and serves as a model for appropriate and pro-social behaviors. Relationship Reports directly to the Supervisor of Mental Health Services. Qualifications Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, and 40 hours of training in content covered by Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) training as verified by a BCBA. Completion of all ongoing training, policy review, and supervisory requirements. Skills/Knowledge: Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work positively in a strength-based intervention model; ability to adhere to mandated timelines and provide services to clients and families. Physical: Must have a valid driver’s license; ability to drive; ability to physically restrain students in accordance with CLIU protocols; speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively; vision adequate to read correspondence and computer screens; good manual dexterity; ability to conduct safety restraint protocols requiring flexibility, standing, walking, running, kneeling, bending, grasping, and learning multi-step physical skills. Functions / Duties / Responsibilities Essential: Assists client with daily living skills. Implements behavior management programs and interventions. Empowers parents/guardians in their roles as primary caretakers. Serves as a positive role model. Completes appropriate paperwork and documentation as required. Works with team members in the department for enforcement and evaluation of treatment plans. Secondary: Travels to and from clients’ homes, a requirement to perform duties. Works with other staff supporting their work with clients. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor of Behavioral Health Services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
