Job Details Location: Nampa, Idaho (83687) Setting: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery Unit (L&D, maternal-newborn care) Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (13‑week contract) Start Date: February 8, 2026 End Date: May 9, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12‑hour nights) Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100 Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job Requirements Active and unrestricted RN license (or eligible for State of Idaho licensure) Certification or demonstrated competency in Labor & Delivery nursing (L&D certification preferred) At least 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or obstetrics nursing Current BLS certification (AHA) Ability to complete onboarding requirements, including health screenings and competency testing Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit Monitor mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery and recovery, including fetal monitoring/EFM as applicable Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow medication safety protocols Educate patients and families on the childbirth process, postpartum care, and newborn care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Respond to emergencies and provide critical care and neonatal stabilization as needed Why Join Us Work in a modern Obstetrics unit with a supportive team, strong clinical resources, and the opportunity to grow your L&D and maternal‑newborn nursing skills.
