Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This specialized role provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, focusing on patient safety and quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. - Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure their comfort.
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
- Position patients appropriately, utilizing safe patient handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records within EPIC and ensure images are sent to the PACS system correctly.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position).
- Two (2) years of CT experience.
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
