About Aurality

Aurality is a Herndon, Virginia–based medical device company changing how ear impressions are captured. Our flagship product, the Empress3D, is a handheld scanner that creates a direct in-ear 3D scan. It replaces traditional silicone impressions with a faster, cleaner, more accurate digital workflow for audiologists, hearing care professionals and the manufacturers they work with. We're a lean, fast-moving team, and every hire has a direct impact on our growth.

The Role

We're looking for a self-starting hunter to own the Western US territory: all states west of the Mississippi, including Louisiana and Texas. You'll find, demo and close new business with hearing care clinics, often in a single meeting and usually within about 30 days. You'll also recruit and enable channel partners to extend your reach. This is an individual contributor role: you'll be in the field, running your own demos and closing your own deals.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, demo and close sales of the Empress3D with audiology practices, hearing aid dispensers, ENT clinics and multi-site hearing care groups across the Western US.
  • Recruit, train and activate distributors and dealers so they actively sell the Empress3D alongside their other lines.
  • Run a short, consultative capital sale: discovery, hands-on demo, ROI conversation, proposal and close.
  • Build and maintain your own pipeline and forecast accurately in our CRM.
  • Represent Aurality at trade shows, conferences and customer events.
  • Work closely with leadership, clinical and product teams to relay customer feedback and support adoption after the sale.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of recent, quota-carrying capital equipment sales to clinics or practices, ideally in medical, dental, audiology or optical devices.
  • A record of closing deals yourself, with numbers to show for it.
  • Hunter mentality: you generate your own opportunities and are energized by new-logo selling.
  • Experience selling both direct and through distributors or dealers.
  • Comfort running live product demos yourself.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Western US and to national events.
  • Based in the Western US.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • Sales or clinical field experience in audiology, hearing care or ENT.
  • Experience selling digital scanners or imaging equipment (for example intraoral, ophthalmic or audiology diagnostic systems) into private practices.
  • Existing relationships with audiology practices, hearing aid manufacturers or hearing care networks in the West.
  • Experience introducing new or disruptive technology to a clinical market.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and incentive compensation package.
  • Health benefits.
  • The chance to shape how a new technology reaches the audiology market, with direct access to company leadership.

To Apply

Send your resume to with a short note on your most significant capital equipment win: what you sold, to whom, the deal size and your role in closing it. Applications without this note may not be reviewed. xhyhwjd
