Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Imaging Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing imaging support in the operating room, specifically within vascular interventional radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with case workflow by pulling inventory and ordering necessary items in the EPIC system prior to procedures.
• Operate the imaging table and controls during procedures.
• Perform 3D spins and utilize fusion technology.
• Engage actively in the operating room during procedures, including filming and post-processing images.
• Document and manage inventory utilized during cases using HI-IQ.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the operating room team, and other procedural team members.
• Support simple surgical cases utilizing a C-arm during downtime, including procedures such as Impella placements and cystoscopies.

Qualifications:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Active Virginia state license is required; candidates can submit applications with pending licensure, eligible for temporary licensure provided they hold a license in another state.
• Strong experience in vascular interventional radiology is essential.
• Familiarity with hybrid operating room procedures is highly desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial.

Schedule:

This position requires 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating on-call responsibilities every fourth week.

Additional Information:

Applicants must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for potential candidates.
