STEM Specialist

Description We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic STEM Specialist to work in Bangor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in science and demonstrate excellent mentoring and teaching abilities. Main Duties To plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative STEM workshops Facilitate workshops by helping with activities and explaining scientific concepts Ensure that all workshops are delivered to a high standard Work with local schools and colleges to determine their specific needs in respect of tailored activities Prepare the necessary materials for each workshop and ensure correct handling of specialist equipment If successful in the role a permanent contract is available Person Specification Essential Degree in a STEM related subject Fluent in Welsh Experience of developing and delivering presentations and workshops with demonstrable learning outcomes Excellent communication skills A positive and proactive attitude Full driving licence and access to own vehicle Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Desirable Previous experience working in education Notes All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, as we cannot offer a work permit to any applicant or facilitate work permits for any vacancy We are a member of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) #J-18808-Ljbffr
