Executive Director – IDD Residential Services

Fairfield, CT | Full-Time

Lead a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives.

We're seeking an experienced executive to oversee residential and community-based services across Connecticut. This role is ideal for a leader who excels at building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, managing financial performance, and delivering exceptional, person-centered care.

What You'll Do

Lead residential and community-based services across multiple Connecticut locations
Oversee Operations, Nursing, HR, Recruitment, Quality, and Billing
Drive financial performance, budgeting, staffing, and operational efficiency
Develop and mentor leaders while building a culture of accountability
Ensure compliance with all state, licensing, and accreditation requirements
Build strong relationships with families, state agencies, and community partners

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
8+ years of senior leadership experience
Experience leading residential IDD services
Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning skills
Experience leading organizational change and developing high-performing teams
