Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neurology Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical Position Overview The Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit will provide high-quality patient care by utilizing their clinical expertise and experience in neuro care. This role involves managing a diverse set of patients, including those requiring step-down interventions. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with the established protocols and best practices. Monitor and assess patient conditions to provide timely interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities. Utilize EPIC software for electronic health records management. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical or neuro specialty. NIHSS certification is mandatory for consideration. ACLS certification required. Experience working with step-down patients is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care procedures and protocols. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
