We are searching for an experienced Parts Runner for our Buford, Georgia location. The Parts Runner is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, tracking, and distributing parts and materials needed to support electronic and hydraulic technicians. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed, and researching and locating required parts from other company warehouses when they are not available in-house. The Parts Runner will use SAP to accurately receive parts, record inventory transactions, maintain stock levels, and support the overall efficiency of the maintenance and repair operation.

What you’ll do:

• Receive incoming parts, inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders or shipping documentation.
• Properly label, organize, and stock parts in designated inventory locations.
• Enter and maintain accurate parts and inventory information in SAP.
• Process receiving, issuing, transferring, and other inventory transactions in SAP as required.
• Ensure technicians receive the correct parts and quantities for repairs.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify parts that need to be replenished.
• Research part availability across multiple stock warehouses.
• Research part numbers, descriptions, and inventory records to help identify suitable parts.
• Track parts that have been ordered, transferred, or are awaiting delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and part locations.
• Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory activities.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate supervisor or department.
• Follow established procedures for inventory control, material handling, and workplace safety.
• Coordinate with technicians, purchasing, and warehouse staff to ensure parts are available when needed.
• Perform other parts, material-handling, and inventory-related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-plus years of experience in parts, warehouse, inventory, or material control required.
• 2-plus years of experience using SAP or another inventory management/ERP system required.
• Ability to accurately enter and retrieve information using a computer.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify parts using part numbers, descriptions, drawings, catalogs, or inventory systems.
• Ability to research inventory across multiple warehouse locations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
