Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Night Shift

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: The Med/Surg unit is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg with a focus on oncology care. This role requires a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with a dedicated team. The unit provides a supportive environment to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standard med/surg care to a mix of patients, including oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy treatments, adhering to unit policies and guidelines.
• Perform vital signs assessments regularly for patients on remote monitoring.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Chemotherapy certification and ACLS certification preferred.
