Job Description

A 155 bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia with a thriving physician group .

• Regional Health System is currently seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join our robust team of physicians and highly skilled advanced practitioners and support providers.
• Salary: Competitive hourly rate and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual 3% cost of-living adjustment as a W-2 hospital employee.
• Profit Sharing Bonus: Quarterly profit sharing bonus
• Quality Bonus: bonus for quality measures met
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Schedule: Tuesday – Friday 12pm-9pm; extra pay for extra hours
• Facilities details: Newly-renovated 24-hour emergency department with 24 private patient treatment rooms; rooms are equipped with Advanced Cardiac Monitoring Systems and feature computers at the bedside for nurse documentation; hospital physicians’ lounge with meals provided; 24-hour hospital fitness center; and a state-of-the-art medical education center with simulation labs, a conference center, and more!

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of emergency medicine residency only
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

Other:

• Regional is not currently accepting candidates needing visa sponsorships for this specialty.
• Candidates must be emergency medicine residency trained.  Not accepting family medicine or internal medicine candidates.
• Regional Health System is not a designated trauma center.
