Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality acute care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage diverse trauma and pediatric cases while ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Render Emergency Department nursing care for a high patient volume, ensuring swift assessment and intervention.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments following established protocols and patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapists, RTs, case managers, and social workers.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system accurately for documentation, order entry, and communication.
• Triage ambulance patients at bedside and adapt to rapid patient turnover and inpatient admissions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code standards, ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications from AHA.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of recent ER experience with strong critical thinking skills.
• Possess EPIC EHR experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Show proven ability to work in trauma and pediatric cases with a focus on nursing excellence.
• Be comfortable managing a fast-paced environment with a patient population that values informed care.
• Maintain superior references and trauma experience, with a preference for 3-5 years of ER nursing.
