Position Summary Commercial Project Manager – Project Management Specialists (Full‑time, Regular, 30+ hours) – Day Shift. Location: Greenville, SC 29615. Posted 06/30/2026. Positions available: 1. Hybrid work permitted. Key Responsibilities Serve as a strategic business partner to project managers, driving project success by ensuring quality execution, schedule adherence, and budget alignment. Provide critical support in claim and change management, monitor scope variations, and maintain project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Assume full P&L responsibility, oversee cash flow performance, and execute month‑end closing activities. Establish a proper project structure that aligns with approved budgets and contractual obligations, ensuring timely billing, accurate cost recognition, and effective management of financial backlog and accounts receivable. Support procurement activities by validating purchase orders for competitive sourcing, budget compliance, and contractual consistency. Coordinate contractual requirements such as performance guarantees, insurance, tax, sureties, and currency management to ensure full compliance. Maintain adherence to Siemens Levels of Authority and commercial guidelines, including risk and opportunity management processes and commercial/administrative policy integrity. Ensure accurate and compliant financial documentation for audit outcomes. Resolve complex project issues to guarantee delivery in line with customer expectations and contractual terms. Engage proactively with internal delivery units and external subcontractors, particularly regarding import duties and local tax implications across the supply chain. Communicate with customers and suppliers to address and resolve commercial issues. Provide insightful analysis of project performance during management reviews, contributing to informed decision‑making and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial project management or an acceptable alternate occupation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP. Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Knime, and AI‑based solutions. Strong analytical capabilities with a thorough understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS and local GAAPs. Experience applying complex accounting methods such as percentage‑of‑completion and completed contract accounting. At least 1 year ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines in the context of monthly/quarterly statements with audit‑proof documentation. Experience in project management methodology, including project structure setup, scheduling, controlling, budget planning, and application of financial reporting guidelines and limits of authority processes. Solid understanding of supply chain operations, customs duties regulations, and international tax regulations (PATAC, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, sales tax, VAT, income tax). Capability to analyze contracts and apply international legal principles. Ability to conduct detailed financial P&L and KPI analyses, identify and manage risks and opportunities, and support procurement‑related decisions. Experience in audits, internal control procedures, and forecasting project financials, including orders, revenue, free cash flow, and management of accounts receivable. Strong reporting skills to present project performance to management with clarity and precision. Proven ability to work in international teams across diverse cultures and perform under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
